Drawing vocabulary.
These are the basic terms we use when Drawing professionally.
emphasis: intensity or forcefulness of expression
texture: the feel of a surface or a fabric
shading: graded markings that indicate light or shaded areas in a drawing or painting
perspective: appearance as determined by distance from the viewer
linear perspective: the appearance of things relative to one another as determined by their distance from the viewer
line: a mark that is long relative to its width
shape: the visual appearance of something or someone
vertical: at right angles to the plane of the horizon or a base line
horizontal: parallel to or in the plane of the horizon or a base line
diagonal: having an oblique or slanted direction
