Art Classes For All Ages
At Tovar Academy of Art, we believe in nurturing creativity throughout the year with a variety of events and camps designed to inspire and engage our students. Our annual Chalk Walk during the Arts and Seafood Festival is a highlight, where participants can showcase their talents in a public setting. Additionally, our Summer Camps offer an immersive experience, allowing young artists to dive deep into their creative pursuits.
Membership at the academy comes with significant benefits, including discounts or even free access to these events. Beyond our local activities, we encourage our students to take part in local, regional, national, and international art competitions, broadening their horizons and connecting them to the wider art community.

The Classroom
The classroom at Tovar Academy of Art is thoughtfully designed to create an optimal learning environment. Equipped with modern technology and ergonomic furniture, our space is tailored to enhance both the creative process and the comfort of our students. We offer a variety of workstations, including drafting tables, easels, and painting tables, to accommodate different artistic needs.
To ensure a pleasant atmosphere, the classroom is fully air-conditioned, and we play calming music that helps students focus and immerse themselves in their work. Every detail is considered to make the learning experience both productive and enjoyable.
Our Teaching Method
The European Academic Drawing Structure
Our learning program is based on The European Academic Drawing structure. We have taken the same rules and learning process that is meant for talented adults and converted them to a learning system for talented, younger students, aged 5 to 17.
The learning program consists in 12 levels of learning, meant for our students to develop their skill and master different mediums.

The Academy uses a subscription-based program. Our most popular plan “Academic Student” includes:
A 1-hour class every week
ALL materials needed in 9 levels out of 10 are included also (Excludes Oil Painting)
Access to our exclusive Channel and Blog on all techniques and matters regarding Art
Studio Equipped with Drafting tables designed for comfort and good posture

Application Process
At Tovar Academy of Art, we take pride in curating a learning environment that is conducive to growth and creativity. Our application process is designed to ensure that each student is a good fit for our classes. Prospective students are invited to submit their information through our application portal. Once received, our team carefully reviews each submission and reaches out to those who we believe will thrive in our programs.
