Pets of the USA is an upcoming coloring book featuring one real place from each U.S. state — including cities, towns, and national parks — brought to life through animals dressed like people. These animal characters are inspired by real families, with each person illustrated as an animal version of themselves.

I’m inviting families to participate by submitting a photo reference that I can use to turn them into whimsical animal characters in the book. Your family’s names (if you choose) will be included, allowing you to be lovingly “immortalized” in this artwork that will be shared nationwide.

What I need from you:

• A clear, full-body photo of you and/or your family

• A playful, friendly, or everyday family moment (standing, walking, playing, etc.)

• Nothing inappropriate for children (no offensive gestures, symbols, or content)

• Photos with movement and personality are especially welcome (playing ball, walking, hiking, kayaking, etc.)

Optional:

• You may also include your real pets if you’d like them illustrated alongside your family.

Important notes:

• The original background does NOT matter — I will replace it with the landmark or location featured in the book.

• Families, couples, individuals, and children are all welcome.

I will share example images of the type of photos I’m looking for to make the process easy.
